These terms apply between Holm IT AB, Bolmensvägen 13, 120 50 Årsta, Sweden (“we”), and the customer who buys a service through merchantcure.com (“you”).
Who you are contracting with
MerchantCure is a trading name of Holm IT AB, a company registered in Sweden (reg. no. 556980-7307, VAT SE556980730701). Holm IT AB is the seller and the contracting party, and issues every invoice.
MerchantCure is the name of the service. It is not a separate legal entity, and it does not appear on your invoice as one. If you need to identify the counterparty for your own records — a supplier register, a reverse-charge declaration, an accounting entry — the answer is Holm IT AB, registration number 556980-7307, VAT SE556980730701.
What the services are
Quick Scan
A free, no-obligation automated first look at your storefront, normally completed in under a minute, while you wait. Where the scan cannot reach your shop we may look at it manually instead. It carries no charge and no commitment on either side. It is also our triage: we may decline the case, and we will say why.
Emergency Cure
A fixed-price engagement. You receive:
- A diagnosis report where every finding carries its evidence and the policy it breaches.
- Recipe cards describing each fix as steps a person can follow.
- Before/after text pairs for your approval before anything changes.
- A recommended order of execution.
- A verification pass once you have carried out the work.
- A reinstatement dossier for you to attach to an appeal.
Writing approved text corrections into your shop
Where you have connected a shop API key, we may write a text correction directly into your shop. This clause states the limits of that permission, and they are part of the agreement rather than a description of our current practice.
- Only fields you can see listed. Product description, short description and product name. Nothing else is written, and the list is not widened without your agreement.
- Only after you approve that individual change. Approval is per change. There is no action available to us that approves or writes more than one at a time.
- Never price, stock or published status. These move money and shelf space and remain yours to change.
- Every write is logged with the value that preceded it, and can be reversed on your instruction. A reversal is itself a write and is subject to the same conditions.
- You may withdraw the key at any time, from your shop or from us. Deletion removes the stored credential rather than marking it inactive.
What we do not do
- We do not take administrative access to your systems. We do not request or accept an administrator login to your shop, your server, your theme or your plugins, and we do not log in to your shop. The only write access we hold is the API key described above, limited to the fields listed there.
- We do not submit appeals on your behalf and we do not act as your representative towards Google.
- We give no legal or tax advice. Where we cite consumer or pricing rules it is to show what the rule requires and what your shop currently displays — never an assessment of whether you are breaking a law.
What neither of us can promise
Reinstatement decisions are made by Google reviewers. Nobody outside Google can commit to a particular outcome, and we do not. What we undertake is that every finding we report will carry evidence, and that every claim in the reinstatement dossier will carry a measurement and a date that a reviewer can check independently.
We also cannot see inside your Merchant Center account. Findings that depend on account state, account history, or which feed file is connected are handed to you as a checklist, clearly marked as unverified by us.
Price and payment
The Emergency Cure is priced by the number of products in the feed connected to Merchant Center, according to the tiers published on the Emergency Cure page. We state which number we used. If the count turns out to place you in a different tier than we first assumed, we tell you before starting rather than adjusting the invoice afterwards.
All amounts are invoiced in SEK. Euro and dollar figures on the site are rounded conversions shown for readability and are not prices in those currencies.
Not yet reviewed Prices exclude VAT. VAT is added where applicable, based on your location and business status. You will see the exact amount before you pay.Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Work begins when the engagement is agreed.
The invoice is issued by Holm IT AB and carries the registration and VAT numbers above. It will reference MerchantCure as the service, not as the supplier — they are the same business under two names, and the invoice says which is which.
Your responsibilities
- That you own or are authorised to act for the shop you ask us to examine. We examine sites on the instruction of the person responsible for them, and not otherwise.
- That the information you give us — the URL, the suspension reason, the account history — is accurate.
- That you review before/after pairs before approving them. They exist for that.
- That you take a backup before running any change that touches a database. The cards say so where it applies.
Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw. Because this service is normally wanted urgently, we will ask you to confirm that you want us to begin immediately, which means the right lapses once the work is delivered. If you are buying as a business, the statutory right does not apply.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the engagement. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost advertising performance, or consequential loss. We are not liable for the outcome of a Google review, nor for the results of changes you or your developer make to your systems.
Text corrections we write into your shop under your approval are our own act, and we do not disclaim them here. If a write we made is not the change you approved, tell us and we will reverse it to the logged original. That is a correction, not compensation, and the limit in the paragraph above still applies.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Confidentiality
What we see in your shop and your feed stays between us. Anything we publish about classes of fault is aggregated and anonymised, with no shop, domain, brand or product identified.
Relationship to Google
MerchantCure is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Google. “Google” and “Merchant Center” are trademarks of Google LLC, used here only to describe what the service relates to.
Governing law
Swedish law applies. Disputes are heard by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you may also take a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
